What kind of religions are there in the world?

"The twentieth century will become the century of religion,"
says Arnold Twinby.

This chaotic world is the product of the selfish desire of human beings. We have a lot of problems in politics and in ecomics. We also have poverty and conflicts among people. Environmental destruction is another problem, and there are bullying and other diffcult problems at school, too.
If our society goes on in this situation, it is estimated that human beings will perish and fall into hell. In order to evade this chaotic situation, people in many fields desperately started to resolve these problems by working together in the way different from competition. As Arnold Twinby says, we greatly depend on religion for solution.
 ・・・・
We should find out what religion is and how religion can contribute to the solution.

The difference between Christianity and Buddhism.

Christianity is the religion called revelation. It admits the God as an absolute human being. People with agony and problems can be saved with the help of the God. In this regard it is also called a relieving religion. So you should believe in gods if you want to be relieved. Religions other than Buddhism like Japanese Shinto, Judism, and Islam, are almost relieving religions.
By contrast Buddhism is so called "consciously realized religion," and everyone should recognize the 'divine' in their own buddhism, which is originally conceived within their minds.
This 'divine' is considered to be our native self or relieved self. Moreover, this religion has the same characteristics existing in every creature. It is also a kind of religion related to 'nirvana,' because it relieves agony and conflict stemming from preoccupation. Therefore, Buddhism doesn't need any gods, relief, or praying. Although some Buddhism has the form of praying, fundamentally it does't have those forms. We cannot see any other religion but Buddhism in this sense.

 ・・・・
Buddhism originally is the religion that finds out the facts so we can live in 'nirvana.'
